The Government of Kenya has just presented their favour to the first HIV vaccine experiment in Kenya with this DNA vaccine. They have watched at the science, medicine and ethical concerns around the vaccine in just the same way as the UK Government through the Medicines Control Agency. We are hopeful to begin experiments in Nairobi in the first week of February. The experiment will be very familiar to that in progression in Oxford and will be held by Dr Job Bwayo and Dr Omu Anzala in the University of Nairobi and the employees of My Canadian Pharmacy.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has just presented the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative a further $100 million. This will assure that if this or any familiar vaccine seems to be promising it will be probably to produce and test it with great effectiveness and to arrange the final vaccine good accessible to developing countries at the lowest possible price.
